Service Description

Do members of your team feel 'absent'? Disengaged? Are there systemic or personal issues creating what feels like insurmountable challenges? Have you already tried "everything"? A practical embodied approach to team cohesion could be the thing you haven't tried...our best understanding comes through lived experience. These workshops would make a perfect addition to an off-site team retreat. April uses practical somatic content to help leaders understand their teams better. Tired of sitting in front of a PowerPoint? These workshops provide lived felt experience that makes their application potent. Workshop topics could include: - Understanding levels of listening with practical practice of how to listen with your whole self. - Understanding stress and/or complacency within the team and how to practically shift it. - Perspective taking around fear and loss within the team. - Understanding reactive behaviour, triggers and how to find balance within yourself. -Understanding your own conditioned tendencies and finding choice in the gap between stimulus and response. -Learn practical methodologies for better communication and release from stressful thinking. -Feel an embodied sense of support and learn how to foster it. April has worked with corporate executives since 2017 in both 1:1 capacities and large workshop settings to untangle habitual patterning (in thought and movement) that leave us feeling frustrated and "stuck". Since 2017 April has worked with Directors from Marriott Hotels worldwide; and over the past 8 years has worked both in person and virtually with: Activision Blizzard, The Broad Institute, Lululemon, Tesco and Unilever. April's approach blends Adaptive Leadership Frameworks, The Work of Byron Katie and deep somatic expertise. These offerings will be uniquely devised to allow participants to question their stressful thinking, bring awareness to current patterning and discover new choices for moving forward. Let's get together and chat about your unique team dynamics and workshop possibilities. These will be most effective done in-person and in a large neutral space like our Road Town Studio or another off-site location.
